O tempo é limitado - Fatima Center

fatima.org / time-is-limited /

Tragicamente, incontáveis vidas e almas já se perderam devido aos

castigos que assolam o mundo e a Igreja, de que Nossa Senhora há muito
poderia nos poupar, e as promessas futuras apenas as piores perdas
vindouras.

In the revelation of August 1931, Our Lord made a frightening reference to

the fate of the King of France, to whom He had given exactly 100 years to
comply with His request that the king consecrate France to His Sacred
Heart, promising thereby to deliver it from its enemies.

(That request was given through St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in 1689. Three
successive kings of France chose to ignore Our Lord’s request, until 100
years later — to the day! — when the French monarchy was definitively
subverted and overthrown. King Louis XVI, who was reigning in 1789, “had
much to suffer” at the hands of the revolutionaries — in humiliations, in
prison, and finally on the scaffold of a guillotine.)

“Make it known to My ministers,” Our Lord told Sister Lucy, “that given they
follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My
command [i.e., now for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart
of Mary], they will likewise follow him into misfortune.”

Our Lord did not explicitly say that He would allow the Pope and bishops
no more than 100 years to finally obey Him – whether from 1917, when Our
Lady first spoke of the Consecration of Russia, or from 1929 when She
returned to announce Heaven’s formal request for the Consecration – but
it is not difficult to recognize this implication of 100 years. Certainly Our
Lord will not allow us to despise and dishonor His Mother indefinitely.

“Let us remember,” said Sister Lucy, “that Jesus Christ is a very good Son. He
does not permit that we offend and despise His Most Holy Mother. We find
recorded throughout the centuries of the Church’s history a clear lesson

1/3
contained in the terrible chastisements which have befallen those who
have attacked the honor of His Most Holy Mother, demonstrating how Our
Lord Jesus Christ has always defended the honor of His Mother.”

In his book of meditations titled Preparation for Death, St. Alphonsus

Liguori draws our attention to a passage in the Book of Wisdom: “Thou
hast ordered all things by measure, number, and weight.” (11:21). With
God, the Saint says, everything is precisely measured — as if with an
eyedropper, Father Gruner used to add. Whatever may be our time limit to
implement Heaven’s command for the Consecration of Russia, it is surely
fast approaching. We simply cannot go on in our present course with
impunity.

Neither can we expect to be left at our ease until the Consecration is finally
done. Without Our Lady’s intervention, the reign of iniquity in this world
will continue advancing to levels we can hardly imagine, at the same time
making it more and more difficult to perform the Consecration. It is already
abundantly clear that faithful Catholics will find no welcome in the New
World Order taking shape around us. “The good will be martyred,” Our
Lady of Fatima said flatly.

The World Has Gone in the Opposite

Direction from That Shown by Our Lady
Throughout the hundred years which have passed since the apparitions of
Our Lady of Fatima, diabolic errors — both ideological and practical — have
been taking root throughout the world, just as She warned, pitting mankind
more and more against the reign of Jesus Christ. Now hostilities in the war-
torn Middle East threaten to erupt into a Third World War of unimaginable
destructiveness, and even within the Church, chaos and scandal reign in
the midst of a moral, doctrinal and disciplinary collapse such as has never
been seen in its 2000-year history.

Our Lady of Fatima warned that such crises (particularly wars and
persecutions of the Church) would come upon us as a punishment for the
sins of the world if men did not amend their lives.

Do we deserve these chastisements? It is estimated that more than one

billion people have been killed by abortions (whether surgical or chemical
or in laboratories) in just the last 20 years — more than one billion, fully a
seventh of the world’s entire population, in just 20 years. And in the past
100 years since abortion was first legalized (in communist Russia in 1919),
the number defies calculation but is surely in the billions.

It is written in Sacred Scripture that there are four sins that cry to Heaven
for vengeance, and one of them is the shedding of innocent blood, the
killing of innocent persons. The innocent blood of these billions of babies
slaughtered in the womb, cries to Heaven for vengeance against us all. At
no other time in the history of the world has there been a generation which
2/3
has institutionalized such a heinous crime, giving protection of law not to
the innocent but to their murderers, in societies of virtually every nation
around the globe.

Another sin that cries to Heaven for vengeance is the sin of unnatural vice,
the sin of Sodom, which is also being institutionalized all across the world.
As Pope John Paul II said in one of his homilies at the Fatima Shrine, the
world has gone in the opposite direction from that indicated by Our Lady
in 1917.
