The Perfect Dream

Disney's “The Perfect Dream” is an example of the Hero's Journey. This story is an

example of the Hero's Journey because it has the call to adventure, approach the innermost cave,

and the return with the elxer. The call to adventure is when Pluto wakes up mickey. This
represents the call to adventure because this is when the problems all start. Further on in the

cartoon when for a second time all the people and thangs wake him up is the approach of the

innermost cave. This is the approach of the innermost cave because he is about to give up. At the

end of the story when mickey conducted (controlled) the sound this represents the return with the

elixir. This represents the return with the elixir because this he figures out how to get to the end

of his dream.
