According to environmental consultants, proper sanitation and disinfection procedures

must be conducted in the workplace to prevent and minimize the spread of pathogens in the
school environment. Thus, Tubod Central Elementary School conducted disinfection to offices
and classrooms and other school premises.
For the parents of modular classes to be comfortable and safe from the threat of Covid
19 virus, as well as the teachers, Tubod Central Elementary School required its teachers to
conduct disinfection in their own classrooms using the government issued disinfectant spray
and hand gloves. The school also coordinated with the Local Government Unit -DRRMC Tubod
to conduct disinfection in school offices and facilities as well as other school premises to control
the spread of illness and disease.
Due to Executive Order released by the Local Government, the enrollment of Tubod
Central Elementary School was done through Drop Boxes. Only parents or guardians are
permitted to transact by going to the Identified Purok and submit the Learner Enrollment Survey
Form. Every third day the said forms will be harvested by a Purok teacher enabler who will also
submit the forms to the grade level ICT. The school also have by grade level hotlines available
for the parents to answer their questions and concerns regarding enrollment. This is where the
OBE-PACC Officers function by assigning grade level teachers to answer queries of the public.
For guardians and parents who do not have cellphones, they were guided to transact in the
school provided that they will follow proper health protocols such as wearing of face shield and
face mask, bringing their own pen and submit the LESF in a box in the OBE-PAAC Center near
the entrance gate.
In the spirit of volunteerism, Tubod Central Elementary School started Brigada Eskwela
with a Recorida around Poblacion last August 3, 2021 around 3:30 in the afternoon. The
procedure of enrollment was announced and the Brigada Pagbasa. Parents and guardians
were challenged to bring Kumintang for the Project “Let a Million Flowers Bloom”.
Truly, it is good to conduct a Recorida for public information and reminder so that the
parents will be encourage to engage in the promotion of the new learning system, the new
role and increased involvement of the parents in the learning of their children since this is
essential to augment available resources and technology in the community.
Distribution of Self-Learning modules is done every
week as well as the retrieval. There are assigned days for
every grade level to avoid overcrowding of parents.
Proper health protocols were observe and social
distancing is strictly followed. Every parent or guardian is
required to bring his/her own ballpen. Teachers prepare
the modules and parents shall claim it through their
advisers.
To strengthen the Bawat Bata Bumabasa program,
Tubod Central Elementary School commits to helping learners
improve their reading skills by engaging partners and
stakeholders to promote the culture of reading. However, due
to the existing crisis that the country is facing the school utilizes
parents and guardians in the realization of the program to avoid
children’s exposure.
Parents and guardians were provided with reading materials by the school
as supplementary reading materials at home.
