First of all, I would like to show my heartfelt thanks to Rattana Institute of Business
Administration, which allowed me to do this thesis and put me through a two-year experience of
encountering the English for Business.

Second, my big appreciation goes to my advisors Teacher Chandy SYINTHAVONG for

his marvellous supervision, guidance and encouragement. Sincere gratitude is extended to their
generous participation in guiding constructive feedback, kind support and advice during my
thesis proposal, not only for research methodology but also many methodologies in life. I would
not have achieved this far and this thesis would not have been completed without all the support
that I always received from them.
