Research Problem:

We all know that we nursing students suffer a lot, especially in our psychological
aspect. We experience psychological stress and get concerned about our future
career. Because, for me, it has an adverse effect. From what I experienced in prior
years as a nursing student, I observe that everyone seems so excited and curious
about things that might happen as they pursue nursing as a future career. So how
would they be excited about continuing the course if they couldn’t experience the
real life scenario as a nursing student in their first year? It has a psychological
effect because maybe some of them will decide to stop or to change other
courses.

Purpose:

It is important for those students who also suffer from stress or depression, that
we give them confidence and motivation that things like that are very normal in
this course.

Purpose:
The COVID 19 pandemic has caused significant stress among students and educational
institutions worldwide. The goal of this study was to assess the influence of the
pandemic on the psychological well-being of 1st year nursing students.
RRL:

In general, authors describe how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted citizens'
mental health around the world; isolation measures, fear, uncertainty, and
economic turmoil, lack of social connectedness and trust in other people and
institutions, and the risk of losing jobs and incomes are all causing a significant
increase in anxiety and worry, resulting in "psychological distress" (Zhang J.J. et
al., 2020).
