Prejudice Definition: Having bias or a preconceived opinion towards something or someone that

is not based on actual reason. Prejudice compared to fairness are complete opposites as fairness is
impartial treatment or behavior without favoritism or discrimination which prejudice is partial
treatment and unfair preconceived perceptions. For example, if men doubt women in the workforce
because of previously built prejudice, and as a result give them less work, pay, and opportunity for
promotion. Prejudice can have a negative effect on its subject and lead more to prejudice which is
an unending cycle.
