The purpose of a narrative text is to entertain or amuse and teach the readers and it has moral
values.

The generic structure of a narraive text is a follows:

1. orientation tells about the characters involued in

the story, where and when the events hapen.

2. complication/crisis is a series of problems that

arise and are experienced by the characters.

3. resolution tells about how the characters solve

the problems.

The languange features of narrative text:

1. its focus on spesific participants

2. the use conjuction processes and mental processes

3. the use past tense.
