Milestone of Achievement

2002

02’s Boutiques was founded in Melaka, 27 October 2002 by a group of multicultural designers. The
representatives of each culture will be Susan Tan (Chinese), Dahran Anusha (Baba Nyonya), Mr
Safizul Saidi (Malay), Shiva Chander (Indian). They were the top-performing students with their
boarding careers as Fashion Entrepreneur. They named themselves a group called “The Magnificent”
inspired by their different ethnicities on this team. Serendipity had made them an acquaintance with
the same passion and same expertise in the field of entrepreneur and design. They have won KL
Fashion Week Best Design Project and Malaysia Fashion Week Most Outstanding Outfit. The
Magnificent established their first store in Jonker Street, Melaka.

2005

02’s Boutiques initially customizing fashion outfits and traditional ethnics wear respectively. Then,
The Magnificent made a revolutionary change in the fashion industry in Malaysia. This proposal of
having a fusion of traditional fashion outfits struggled for a year and it finally outshines their
expectations.

2007

Seasoned designers such as Zang Toi, Bernard Chandran, Jimmy Choo, Farah Khan were impressed
with these distinctive designs and their courage in establishing 02’s Boutique at their young age. 02’s
Boutique began to go viral, and business has increased dramatically when they won the Fashion
Design’s Best of Year Awards, Best Home Brand Designers, Best Multicultural and Most
Revolutionary Outfit Designs in Malaysia.

2010

Andrew Tan, the founder of KLFW has seen 02’s Boutique potential and decided to bring them for a
tour visit in Paris. Nicolas Ghesquière, the house designer of Louis Vuitton welcomed them with a
visit to LV headquarters. He inspired 02’s Boutique on how overwhelming fashion design can be this
creative and pioneering.

2012

02’s Boutique 10th anniversary was held on 27 October and all loyal customers were invited to join
our party as a token of appreciation. Contract after contract came, and more clients began seeing
the company’s innovative and timeless approach to design. Due to high customer demand in
Penang, our first branch is opened in Butterworth, Penang. Soon enough, the team grew (from a
team of four to a team of twelve!) and more designs and improvements to the operations were
made.

2015

02’s Boutique had been actively participating in fashion shows countrywide and engaged in different
seasoned designers such as Alex Eagle, Aizel Trudel and May Barber to get imparted knowledge
about fashion design. The dedication of 02’ Boutique had paid off with several achievements such as
The Fashion Award- Creative Campaign, Malaysia Style - Fashion Innovator, Award for Fashion
Creator and New Establishment Designer as a whole.

2017
02’s Boutique had attracted the eyes of VOGUE and formed a strong partnership with them. This
collaboration elevated the public exposure of 02’s Boutique worldwide and 02’s Boutique
considered a rising star in the fashion boutique industry.

2019

With the rising traditional trending trend, 02’s Boutique had emerged into Top 10 Boutique Stores in
Malaysia, international clients have been reached due to the high exposure of VOGUE.

2020

02’s Boutique sales impact tremendously when MCO is implemented by the government

Pandemic strikes, mode changing from brick and mortar to click and mortar

2021

Developed a mobile application
