Throughout living our own lives, we come to think of choosing

either work to live or live to work. People aren’t the same on how
they choose to live your life to the fullest. There are two types of
how people live their life one is the one which we called the
“workaholics” who chooses to live for their work and the other one are
those who work to live, wherein living means finding a good and stable
occupation to support life. As for me, I would rather choose working
for me to live because I believe that life is a war in which you are
expected to survive. We survive if we work ourselves out for us to
satisfy our own needs in living. Living a good life isn’t about how
many luxury things you have in your life. In fact, living a better
life is finding something that you love more than anything else and
sacrificing everything just to have it. Work to live is lowkey
enjoying the life you have even when you are staying in a low paying
job, it isn’t the best choice when it comes to finance but it is the
best choice for me because I chose to work to support my living and I
am proud to choose that lifestyle.
According to dictionary, practicality means relating to what is
real rather than to what is possible or imagined while passion is a
strong feeling of doing something. Choosing what you want to pursue is
really hard because passion and practicality plays a big role to
decision making. But choosing my future profession is a matter of
passion because for me, passion is what you dream of and since then I
dreamt of becoming a successful engineer in the future. Practicality
will take you from A to B and passion might take you beyond letter Z.
I would always choose passion because it leads you beyond your
expectations.
Job, work and career are somewhat related to each other. In fact,
job and work are similar but has different meanings. Job refers to a
specific role/ position that you applied for. Work is a general term
for job, it refers to the efforts and activities done to accomplish a
goal. Work can also be done inside and outside a job. The difference
between the two is that you get paid while doing your job while in
work you can either being paid or not. Career is a series of job that
you do, especially a profession that you spend a lot of your working
life in. To connect these three, choosing your career is a way for you
to find the appropriate job for you where you can work yourself out.
To sum up everything, the passion that we have would be the tool
in pursuing the career that we want and have the job in order to work
ourselves out and live a better life.
