Food is necessary for our bodies for several reasons.

It gives us the energy we need to accomplish our


work, our duties, and go about our daily activities in everyday life. Eating healthy food assists an
individual’s growth, strengthens one’s muscular strength, repairs damaged healthy cells, and increases
our resistance to destructive exterior factors. Healthy food supports a healthy, disease-free existence for
a longer period of time. A balanced diet consists of a variety of healthful foods that are included in the
proper amounts in our daily diet, as well as water and dietary fiber. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and leafy
greens, as well as fish and eggs, are all good choices, Vitamins and minerals are abundant in these foods,
which are necessary for the body's normal functioning. To fully appreciate the value of good food in our
diet, we must also be conscious of unhealthy foods, or foods that we should eliminate. These are
primarily junk food products that have little or no nutrient benefit and are high in salt and fat.
Hamburgers, or hot dogs, as well as French fries, are common examples of it that we usually eat.

At this present moment in time, since we are in this kind of situation wherein people tend to order food
online, the one and only thing that I can say and promote to them is to better cook their own food in
their houses to avoid such diseases, since we know that when ordering food outside, we really never
know if the food that they’re serving us is really safe and healthy. Another thing is that we can still order
outside, but I can also say that, as a consumer, we should know our limits and choose a better food stall
or restaurant that sells or prepares food with less sugar or salt. We must be responsible enough to
choose what food we are going to eat since it is in our hands as we pick and choose what food we are
going to eat for the day. Furthermore, since people nowadays tend to eat hamburgers, fries, or hotdogs
at all times out of laziness or lack of time to cook, we must be wise and use our minds when it comes to
choosing what food we are going to choose, since food is the very crucial thing that our body needs.

I disagree, because Fad diets and supplements are not the best alternative for weight control and easy
weight loss because there are many dietary limitations imposed by fad diets that are unhealthy and
impossible to sustain, resulting in failure. People who tend to do this may feel hungry, as well as weary
and weak as a result of these diet strategies, which also lead to harming one’s body. Furthermore,
supplements are also unhealthy since several supplements contain substances with strong health
impacts. This may put us in danger in particular instances, as well as harm or complicate our health.

From my own perspective, I agree with this situation wherein there are many people who want and try
to lose weight, and they really want to see a quick or fast result of their weight loss. I can say this
because I know some people who are really like this nowadays, choosing not to eat 3 times a day and
not eating properly at the proper time. In short, they follow the diet pattern or their own plan. I also
know some who choose to eat unhealthy food rather than healthy food.

I agree that the best food to eat before working out should have low fat and moderate carbs and
protein. I can say this since we know that fats are indeed an important energy source. So, it’s a must
that each individual who tends to do workouts should eat low-fat rather than high-fat meals and high-
carb meals because low-fat digests more slowly than carbohydrates. This also means that our body may
not be able to break down and absorb higher fats than low fats before a workout begins. Also, eating
meals with protein helps in the rebuilding and strengthening of muscles after vigorous exercise.
I disagree with this one because it is better to stay hydrated with water rather than sports drinks during
physical activity, because we know and it is obvious that staying hydrated while exercising is crucial. But
in terms of beverages to drink, there are also some reasons to consider in choosing what to drink. If you
perform an exercise that lasts less than 60 minutes, then you typically won’t need anything more than
water and so sports drinks are just for people who are athletes.

I disagree with this one because eating foods high in saturated fats, are life-threatening in various ways,
such as having heart disease, is a possibility. Healthy fats are required by your body for energy and other
activities. Nevertheless, too much saturated fat causes cholesterol to build up in the body, and
consuming too much sodium raises blood pressure, which is a major risk factor for cardiovascular
disease and strokes.
