Theories of the Aging

Scientist have found that several theories maybe combined to explain various aspects of the complex
phenomenon we call aging.

Activity 1. Definition of Terms.

1. Biologic theory

➢ Are concerned with replying fundamental questions with respect to the

physiologic forms that happen in all living living beings as they age chronologically. These age-
related changes happen autonomous of any outside or pathologic impact.
The essential address being tended to relates to the variables that trigger
the real maturing prepare in living beings These hypotheses by and
large see maturing as happening at atomic, cellular, and indeed systemic levels. In expansion,
biologic hypotheses are not implied to be exclusionary. Hypotheses may be combined
to clarify phenomena.

2. Sociologic theory

➢ Sociologic hypothesis centered on the parts and connections inside which people lock
in in afterward life. The sociological think about of maturing is concerned with the
social viewpoints of both person maturing and a maturing society.
The person involvement of maturing depends on an assortment of
social components, counting open arrangements and programs, financial status, social bolster,
and wellbeing status.

3. Psychologic theory

➢ Psychologic hypothesis affected by both science and humanism; address how

a individual reacts to the assignments of his or her age. Clarifies maturing in terms of
mental forms, feelings, states of mind, inspiration, and identity advancement that's characterized
by life arrange transitions.

4. Non-stochastic theory

➢ It hypothesize that maturing is foreordained through modified cell changes or through

changes within the neuroendocrine or immunologic frameworks.
