Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to complain about the poor quality of trousers received from your company and your
company’s order returning service.
Firstly, I ordered some trousers for my mother’s birthday gift from your company through a mail
order catalogue form. They arrived in good time. Unfortunately, I found their quality and colours
were far beyond my satisfaction. The colours that I order were red, blue and black but what I
received were brown, green and grey.
Secondly, your catalogue form mentioned that the trousers were scratch-proof and of high quality.
However, I discovered that there were holes on the back of the trousers. I also found that their
surfaces were obviously scratched! I did not like them at all and I felt strongly disappointed on their
quality!
After careful consideration, I decided to return them to your company. Therefore, I returned them
through the post office and obtained a receipt thereafter. Unexpectedly, I have received a
statement from your company saying that I owe $500 for the trousers. This is totally ridiculous.
Because of your company’s undesirable service and quality of products, I am unable to give the
trousers to my mother as a birthday gift.
In this connection, I urge you to waive my bill of $500. I also suggest your company to improve the
quality of your products and order returning service.
I look forward to your immediate action to solve this matter as soon as possible.
