Notably, Apple is still manufacturing better and more user-friendly smartphones in

the US. Samsung also makes better brands and has a good market share. It appears iPhone

users are unlikely to change their brand anytime soon.

From the survey results, iPhone has the largest market share in times of usage and

customer satisfaction. Samsung also has high customer satisfaction. IPhone users rate the
3

brand very high and user-friendly. Android users rate the iPhone as a brand that attracts

status. However, iPhone users don't rate iPhone competitors highly, unlike android users who

rate them as better or best brands.

IPhone is still better position to increase its market projection in the future. The new

iPhone 12 bumped their sales and strengthened their leadership position. When compared to

android brands, some premium-priced android brands can seem as good as iPhones (Costello,

2021). However, most android phones are prone to problems. But this does not mean iPhones

don't have problems too. They got some faults, but they are overall higher quality. And this

reaffirms that some American customers will still prefer android's offer of choice and

functionality, and many others will still appreciate the iPhone's greater simplicity and higher

quality.

Both Apple and Samsung make high-quality phones with high customer satisfaction.

These two brands compete with the latest features, camera technology, and designs, and they

produce various variations of flagships with enhanced features. They all possess high

processor speed, high-quality camera, good battery life, and good call quality. When

customers weigh up their benefits and decide to choose, it is always a heavy task. Although

Apple has a larger market share than Samsung in the United States, it will continue to face

stiff competition from Samsung in terms of quality.

LG lags far behind Apple in terms of market share, customer satisfaction, and quality.

IPhone has a speedier processor and has a better display. Also, it got guaranteed software

updates for several years. And in addition to its loyal customers, Apple will continue to

outperform LG in smartphone manufacturing for years.

In conclusion, survey results affirm that Apple has a larger market share in phone

usage, customer satisfaction, and quality. Samsung lags in phone usage, but its customer

satisfaction and quality are almost equivalent to the iPhone. LG lags far behind and is not a

threat to Apple's future. Android users perceive iPhone as a brand that attracts status.

Notably, Apple is very good at integrating software and hardware, thus clearly setting out a

powerful smartphone that performs better than its Android competitors. Also, they are

phenomenal in their ability to roll out software updates such that you will get that support for

a generous period.
