• What experiences related to cultural literacy have you had at SENA?

I can say that I have learned a lot in the Sena course. As I develop the different
activities and progress through the different levels, I have learned about cultures,
about some countries and different topics that help me to achieve the learning goals.
In addition, in the courses there are people from all over the country and sometimes
even people who live in other countries who enrich the discussions and enhance my
desire to learn.
The exchange of knowledge through forums, online sessions and activities definitely
contributes to my professional and personal training.
• Are there currently any projects related to Cultural literacy at SENA? If
so explain them, if there aren’tany, what could you do as a cultural
literacy project in your SENA Regional?
Currently in Sena there are courses related to literacy proper. Likewise, there are
courses related to the promotion of reading and the training of library users.
There is also literacy in writing, arithmetic, computing, virtual and online education,
cultural and informational.
• How can cultural literacy projects improve relations among different
students at SENA
I believe that the cultural literacy projects in Sena improve the relationships between
the different students of Sena in the sense that these courses promote integration
between them. From this, I can say, when students meet through the tools that Sena
provides for training, it constitutes a way of knowing each other and this makes it
easy to understand each other.
When this process is successful, cultural literacy caters for personal growth.
Likewise, the fact of relating to people who belong to different branches of
knowledge, gives teachers and students the opportunity to learn different things to
be used in personal and professional life.
