I was heading off on an exchange trip. My dad said he would drop me off at
the airport. We sett off for the airport so we wouldn't get stuck in rush hour
traffic, and when we got to the airport, he dropped me off at the gate of the
departures area. I got out of the car and ran to the counter where I checked in
my suitcase and showed the attendant my carry-on luggage. They told me that
the plane was delayed and that I would take off late. I went through the security
controls where they searched me and checked my bag, then I heard some
screams and it was that a thief made away with the woman’s handbag.So I
decided to leave my bags and run after it until I caught it but it escaped me, so I
returned for I packed my bags and decided to check out the duty-free shops
and buy a newspaper and a sandwich for the plane. Finally, I got on the plane,
sat down, put on the headphones, opened the newspaper and thought about
how the thief had allowed him to escape, but hey not every time we were
victorious.
