1. The title of the article ?

The Long Standing Effect of Containment on Venous Blood Taking on Hematocrit Levels at The
III Year College Polytechnic Health Analyst.

2. The abstrack of the article ?

ABSTRACK
Hematocrit is a test to determine the ratio of erythrocytes to blood volune or erythrocyte volume
in blood 100 ml set in %. The increase in hematokrit values can result from long-term blood
containment. It sometimes happens in employment.
Tourniquet/hedge is a tool used to shirk and supress or truss with its function as a controller of
blood flow in veins and arteries in a certain period. Cases of venous blood vessel duration may last
more than 3 minutes. The goal is to determine wheather there is a significant difference between
duration of venous blood containment 1 minute and 3 minute against the hematocrt value.
Research method is descriptive method with examination using microhematocrit method. Based
on the result of research that has been done in the hematology laboratory Polytechnic Kemenkes Field
of healt analysts off 22 blood samples obtained the result off hematocrit levels at the time of
containment 1 minutes with an average off 38,04% whereas at ≥ 1 minute obtained levels of
hematocrit with an average of 39,90%. This suggests that hematocrit levels in venous blood taking
with a ≥ 1 minutr retention time have increased.

3. The aim or goal of the study ?

 General purpose
Determine the effect of hematocrit levels on venous blood collection with a ducting time using a
normal time of 1 minute and a ducting time of ≥ 1 minute.
 Special purpose
1. To determine the level of hematocrit on venous blood sampling with 1 minute damping time.
2. To determine the level of hematocrit on venous blood sampling with a holding time ≥ 1 minute.

Results
From research conducted on 22 samples examined in Laboratory of Hematology Poltekkes,
Ministry of Health, Medan, Department of Health Analyst in March-June 2018, the following
examination results were obtained:
