Some people think that all teenagers should be required to do unpaid work in their free

time to help the local community. They believe this would benefit both the individual
teenager and society as a whole.

Do you agree or disagree?

Volunteering in youngers is being addressed as a requirement in today’s society

thanks to the foreseen merits it may bring. Both the givers and the takers are believed to
reap the benefits out of this action. From my perspective, I am on the same page with the
mentioned perception.

Concerning the consequential value a teenager may receive, there may be a sheer
volume of positive changes happening. Personality shaping is the first factor to be
formulated. Working hard for a paid job may not seem so frustrated as there is still finance
to reap at the end of the day, but striving for unpaid work may require a lot more than seeing
the color of the money. Patience and loving have to be born out of pure will and
determination and only by joining the volunteering force can kids be taught a lesson about
how to behave and how to treat other rights without any prerequisites involved. Therefore,
all the anger and selfishness would be mitigated to a certain level that a teenager will be
more willing in real life to devote themselves to cement the social relationships. Moreover,
a myriad of skills could be picked up throughout their whole volunteering journey. They
will develop themselves more in social communication, offering helps and starting
conversation skills, and learn from others about self-care and other professional skills that
they may not expose to in their daily life.

Regarding society, which is being considered as a receiver, it can extract a whole lot
from teenagers’ voluntary participation. What the takers ask for at the moment will be
fulfilled. For instance, patients in the hospital are in need of essentials such as food and
mineral water, a fund raised by youngsters can provide them correctly what they have asked
for without any hesitance. Some current problems in society can be tackled at the moment
by these kids. Having said that, there are way more flourishing outcomes in the long term
that society can expect coming out of this humanitarian activity. With the vigorous energy
that these kids bring along, some underprivileged souls can be juveniled hence the
community can be more optimistic about a better future for them. In this way, the next
generations are expected to be more responsible, more loving, and more caring, which is
such a promising outlook for the whole world.

All things considered, teenagers’ voluntary work is beneficial to them both and the
society. For these reasons above, this activity should be kept and spread more to any parts of
the world for the better now and the better future of the world.
