Assalamoalaikum!!

Being a Muslim we should recite Morning/Evening adhkar including Masnoon Duas regularly.
These Masnoon Duas, morning and evening Adhkar are for our protection from shaytan and
evil creatures. I believe that most of us know all these duas and they would find it easy to read
them in one section.

I think these are the minimum rememberance of Allah while doing things. Otherwise we can
find other masnoon duas according to the occasion.you can find them here…

I’ve divided them in four parts:

Part A: memorizing Masnoon duas will make easy to read on time .

Part B: Adhkar after each obligatory salaat.

Part C: Adhkar after Fajar and Maghrib or Morning/Evening

Part A: Must Read Masnoon Duas

When Waking Up
‫الح ْمـ ُد هّلِل ِ الّذي أَحْ ـيانا بَعْـ َد ما أَماتَـنا َوإليه النُّـشور‬
َ .

Before entering the toilet

(‫هللا‬ ‫ث َو ْال َخبائِث ) بِس ِْم‬

ِ ‫ك ِمـنَ ْال ُخـ ْب‬
َ ‫ اللّهُـ َّم إِنِّـي أَعـو ُذ بِـ‬.
After leaving the toilet

‫ ُغ ْفـرانَك‬.

When starting ablution

‫ بِس ِْم هللا‬.
Upon completing the ablution
‫أَ ْشهَ ُد أَ ْن ال إِلَـهَ إِالّ هللاُ َوحْ َدهُ ال َشريـكَ لَـهُ َوأَ ْشهَ ُد أَ َّن ُم َح ّمـداً َعبْـ ُدهُ َو َرسـولُـه‬.
(a) When leaving the home
‫ـت عَلى هللاِ َوال َحوْ َل َوال قُـ َّوةَ إِالّ بِاهلل‬ ُ ‫ ت ََو َّك ْل‬، ِ‫ بِس ِْم هللا‬.
Bismil-lah, tawakkaltu AAalal-lah, wala hawla wala quwwata illa billah.
‘In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with
Allah.’
(b) When leaving the home

ْ َُ‫ظلِـ ـ َم أَوْ أ‬
ْ‫ أَوْ أَجْ هَ ـ َل أَو‬، ‫ظلَـــم‬ ْ َ‫ أَوْ أ‬، ‫ أَوْ أَ ِز َّل أَوْ أُ َزل‬، ‫ضـــل‬
َ ُ‫ضـ َّل أَوْ أ‬
ِ َ‫اللّهُـ َّم إِنِّـي أَعـو ُذ بِكَ أَ ْن أ‬
‫ يُـجْ هَ َل َعلَـ ّي‬.
Allahumma innee aAAoothu bika an adilla aw odal, aw azilla aw ozall, aw athlima aw othlam,
aw ajhala aw yujhala AAalay.
‘O Allah, I take refuge with You lest I should stray or be led astray, or slip or be tripped, or
oppress or be oppressed, or behave foolishly or be treated foolishly.’
slip: i.e. to commit a sin unintentionally

Upon entering the home

‫ َوعَلـى َربِّنـا تَ َو ّك ْلـنا‬،‫ َوبِس ِْـم هللاِ خَـ َرجْ نـا‬،‫هللا َولَجْ نـا‬
ِ ‫ بِس ِْـم‬.
Bismil-lahi walajna, wabismil-lahi kharajna, waAAala rabbina tawakkalna.
‘In the name of Allah we enter and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we place
our trust.’
Supplication for one whose affairs have become difficult

ً‫ َوأَ ْنتَ تَجْ ـ َع ُل ْال َحـ َزنَ إِذا ِشـ ْئتَ َسهـْال‬،ً‫اللّهُـ َّم ال َسـ ْه َل إِالّ ما َج َعلـتَهُ َسهـال‬.
Allahumma la sahla illa ma jaAAaltahu sahla, wa-anta tajAAalul- hazana in shi/ta sahla.
‘O Allah, there is no ease except in that which You have made easy, and You make the
difficulty, if You wish, easy.’

Supplication said when mounting an animal or any means of

transport
ِ ‫ـر لَنا هذا َوما ُكنّا لَهُ ُم ْق‬
،‫ َوإِنّــا إِلى َربِّنــا لَ ُمنــقَلِبون‬،‫ـرنين‬ َ ‫ سُـ ْبحانَ الّذي َس َّخ‬،‫بِس ِْـم هللاِ َو ْال َح ْمـ ُد هلل‬
ُ ‫ك اللّهُـ ـ َّم إِنّي ظَلَـ ـ ْم‬
‫ت‬ َ َ‫ سُـ ـبْحان‬،‫ هللاُ أ ْكـ ـبَر‬،‫ هللاُ أ ْكـبَر‬،‫ هللاُ أ ْكـبَر‬،‫الح ْمـ ُد هلل‬
َ ،‫ ال َح ْمـ ُد هلل‬،‫ال َح ْمـ ُد هلل‬

َ ‫ فَإِنَّهُ ال يَ ْغفِـ ُر الذ‬،‫نَ ْفسي فَا ْغـفِرْ لي‬.
‫نوب إِالّ أ ْنـت‬

Supplication before eating

‘When you are about to eat, you should say:

‫ بِس ِْم هللا‬. Bismil-lah.

…and if you forget to say it before starting, then you should say (when you
remember):
‫ـره‬ ِ ‫ بِس ِْم هللاِ في أَ َّولِ ِه َو‬.
ِ ‫آخ‬
Bismil-lahi fee awwalihi wa-akhirih.
‘In the name of Allah in it’s beginning and end.’

Upon completing the meal

ْ َ‫ ْال َح ْمـ ُد هللِ الَّذي أ‬.

‫ط َع َمنـي هـذا َو َر َزقَنـي ِه ِم ْن غَـي ِْر َحوْ ٍل ِمنِّي َوال قُ َّوة‬

Protection from all Fatal Disesases

‫اللهم اني اعوذ بك من البرص والجنون والجذام وسيئ االسقام‬

Translation: “Oh Allah, I seek protection from white liver disease, insanity, leprosy and all
fatal diseases.”

What is said to ward off the deception of the Obstinate Shaytans

‫ و ِم ْن َش ِّر‬،َ‫ وبَ َرأَ و َذ َرأ‬،َ‫او ُزهُ َّن بَرٌّ واَل فَاج ٌر ِم ْن ّشرِّ َما خَلق‬ِ ‫ت الَّتِي اَل ي َُج‬ ِ ‫أَ ُعو ُذ ب َكلِ َما‬
ِ ‫ت هللاِ التَّا َّما‬
‫ض و ِم ْن َش ـ ِّر َمــا يَ ْخـ ُر ُج‬ ِ ْ‫ و ِمن َشرِّ َمــا َذ َرأَ في األَر‬،‫من َشرِّ َما يَ ْع ُر ُج فيهَا‬ ْ ‫َما يَ ْن ِز ُل ِمنَ ال َّس َما ِء ِو‬

‘I take refuge within Allah’s perfect words which no righteous or unrighteous person can
transgress, from all the evil that He has created, made and originated. (I take refuge) from the
evil that descends from the sky and the evil that rises up to it. (I take refuge) from the evil that
is spread on Earth and the evil that springs from her, and I take refuge from the evil of the
tribulations of night and day, and the evil of one who visits at night except the one who brings
good, O Merciful One.’

Remembrance before sleeping

‫مـوت َوأَحْ ـيا‬

ُ َ‫ك اللّهُـ َّم أ‬
َ ‫ بِاسْـ ِم‬.
Bismikal-lahumma amootu wa-ahya.
‘In Your name O Allah, I live and die.’
Upon experiencing unrest, fear, apprehensiveness and the like
during sleep
‫ت ال َّشـــياطي ِن َوأَ ْن‬
ِ ‫ َو َشـرِّ ِعبـــا ِد ِه َو ِم ْن هَ َمـــزا‬، ‫َضـبِ ِه َو ِعـقابِ ِه‬ ِ ‫أَعـو ُذبِ َكلِمـا‬
ِ ‫ت هّللا ِ التّـا ّمـا‬
َ ‫ت ِمن غ‬
‫يَحْ ضـرون‬.
aAAoothu bikalimatil-lahit-tammat min ghadabih,waAAiqabih, washarri AAibadih, wamin
hamazatish-shayateen, wa-an yahduroon.
‘I take refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and punishment, and from the evil
of His servants, and from the madness and appearance of devils.’

Upon seeing a good dream or a bad dream

‘The righteous dream is from Allah and the bad dream is from the devil, so if anyone sees
something which pleases him then he should only relate it to one whom he loves…’
Summary of what to do upon having a bad dream:
■ Spit on your left three times
Spit: A form of spitting comprising mainly of air with little spittle

■ Do not relate it to anyone

■ Turn and sleep on the opposite side to which you were sleeping on previously.

■ Get up and pray if you so desire.

Take Refugee In Allah from All evil Creatures

ِ ‫أَعـو ُذبِ َكلِمـا‬.
ِ ‫ت هّللا ِ التّـا ّمـا‬
‫ت ِم ْن َشـ ِّر ما خَ لَـق‬
aAAoothu bikalimatil-lahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq. (three times in the evening).
‘I take refuge in Allah’s perfect words from the evil He has created.’
(three times in the evening)

Dua after fajar and maghrib before speaking to anyone

"O Allah, save me from the fire (Jahannam)."

HasbiyAllah, la ilaha ila Huwa, ‘alayhi tawakalt, wa Huwa Rabb al-’arsh al-’atheem (Allah is
sufficient for me. I have placed my trust in Him, He is the Lord of the Majestic Throne) seven times in
the morning and evening, Allah will spare him what worries him.” [Abu Dawud]

70,000 angels send dua for Reciter

It has been narrated by Hadhrat Ma’qal ibn Yasaar (RA) that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi
Wasallam) said that the person who recites the following in the morning three times:
Transliteration: “A’oozu billahi as-samee’i al’aleemi min ash-shaytaani-r-rajeem”

followed by the last three verses of Surah Hashr once, Allah will appoint over him/her 70,000
angels who will beg for forgiveness on his/her behalf until nightfall and if he/she happens to
die during the course of the day, he/she will die as a martyr. Whoever recites this at night,
he/she will attain the same reward. (Mishkaat pg. 188)
