Benchmarking is a method that studies the best methods used by other companies and has resulted
in the best performance for these companies. In its application, benchmarking also has a goal, namely to
find the key or secret to success and then adapt and improve it to be applied to companies that carry out the
benchmarking. the application of bench marking is a very difficult thing both physically and mentally,
therefore good human resources are needed in carrying it out. Judging from the severity of bench marking,
of course there are several benefits that can be obtained in its implementation including cultural changes,
performance improvements and increasing human resource capabilities. What is meant by cultural change
is a cultural reorientation towards learning organization. then efficiency is also the main aspect to be
achieved in this management model, namely the efficiency of quality, volume, price and cost. The
application of this management model really provides time efficiency in the selection of a company's
management system because there is no need for a research and development division because it has
observed an efficient management system from other companies which are of course more successful,
therefore this management model is very beneficial to the company.
