1 - Right Hand Walking

Start the metronome at an ultra slow speed and slowly work your way up while keeping track of your speed. I recommend
moving up one metronome marking at a time while maintaining complete control. It may take a week, a month, or years
to reach your desired speed but take your time. Remember to not move past the metronome marking that allows complete
right-hand control.

à Play with staccato (pre-plant the RH fingers) and legato articulation.

Tips:

à Make sure to use both rest-stroke and free-stroke.

à Accent the first note of each rhythmic grouping.
à Try free-strokes with a rest stroke on the first of each eighth or sixteenth note group.
