One of my favorite scary films is Premonition. It’s a Japanese film from 2004.

The director is
Norio Tsuruta and it stars Hiroshi Mikami. It’s about a man named Hideki going on a car trip
with his family. Before nightfall, he decides to stop at a gas station to make a phone call. Inside
the cabin you will find an old sheet of newspaper that the sudden death of your daughter,
right in that place and in that same place. Stunned and impressed, he will not be able to avoid
the terrible accident that will change his life forever. It's a great old-fashioned horror movie in
my opinion - it's not full of violent scenes, but it's full of suspense and very, very scary.
