EUROTRONIC CALIBRATION 7 Example of a 2000kN compression machine [A S57 1234 = place on the machine the reference load cell (calibrated dynamometer) = tum off and then turn on eurotronic = check calibration in manual mode: only if errors are over 1% perform a new calibration = select calibration by using F2-F3 and confirm by F4 = apassword is requested: press E, input 1234, press E, confirm by F4 = select channel you must calibrate now you are inside calibration page: ~ press E: the field relevant to min is highlighted, input 0, confirm by E ~ the field relevant to max is highlighted, input 20000, confirm by ~ the field relevant to KN is highlighted: confirm by E, press rightleft arrows Keys to change KN in mm or mm in kN (select mm only to calibrate displacement transducer) ~ for compression machine confirm kN by E = _ the field relevant to decimals is highlighted: input 1 and confirm by E (1 decimal point so that the display will show 2000. OKN at full scale) = _ the field relevant to bits near ‘P 0.0" is highlighted: do not press E !! . Turn on compression machine, when load on load cell is OkN press F2 on eurotronic so that you can memorize the bits relevant to first point of calibration (OkN) = allttle arrow on display will appear on.the line of ‘Pt 1 +200.0 .....: stress load cell at 200kN ‘and when you read 200kN on load cell press F2 to themorize the second point of calibration. In Practice: quickly increase load on the load cell from OkN to 160-170KN then slow down the nearer the 200KN objective is reached and, once reached, press F2 to memorise.
