*CARRYMAP MOBILE APP MANUAL*

1. Visit Google Play Store and Search/Download the free CarryMap App; not to be
confused with the older (CarryMap Observer) App. The icon image above is the correct
CarryMap App version.

2. Download Maps First: We must first download our GeoJAW Mobile Map. Prep your
device and check to make sure you have space available. Having free space for maps is a
prerequisite. Your email download link will include the file size of your map. You can
order your GeoJAW Mobile Map from GeoJAW.com.
• Download GeoJAW Map Package – from your Email Link to your Desktop Computer.
Unzip files to a known directory location. Your actual Map File has the extension “.cmf”
• For iOS & Android Devices – Map Transfers to Mobile Device can be achieved by:
A. “Cloud-based Import” from Dropbox OR Google Drive (create account). Once
done, upload your .cmf map file to a designated Dropbox/Google Drive folder
(ex. Geojaw Maps). Once complete, you are now ready to open your
CarryMap App and get started with importing/opening your GeoJAW Map!

3. Open CarryMap App/Cloud Connection Setup - If this is your first time opening and
you have no Map Data loaded, you will be directed to this screen below. Once you have
uploaded your .cmf map file to the Cloud via Dropbox/Google Drive method, we must
first add the option to link that account to the App. Under the “Maps” tab, click the
“Orange +” at bottom right and choose the “Add Dropbox or Google Drive” option.
Follow onscreen prompts to complete. Make sure to use WiFi for downloading the .cmf
map file to your device; then download, you’re done (larger map files will take time to
complete).
4. CMF File Statement: Just click “OK or Don’t Show Again.”
5. Your Mobile Map File is now loaded and on screen.
