A CHANCE TO LEAD THE PHILIPPINES AS PRESIDENT IN THIS PANDEMIC SITUATION.

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO LEAD THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT?

If I were the president of this nation, the first thing I’d do is to change the system. We all feel like
the system is too big to change, but guess what? We are the system. And we need to change. I want to be
the kind of president who works not only behind those stacks of paper, but I want to work on the front
line as well.

To start, I would like to request an executive meeting with all the department and organization
heads, discussing all the major problems/issues from each of those departments. From then on, we’re
going to make a plan of action and strategies to resolve the major problems the Philippines is facing
today, such as poverty, unemployment rate, and most importantly, regarding the health system.

As president during this pandemic, my top priority is to provide essential health services during
the COVID-19 outbreak and to improve and expand the forces and resources in healthcare facilities. I'd
like to address the issues of understaffed healthcare facilities and underpaid and uncompensated health
professionals. In addition, I will address the concerns about unemployment and accessibility to
healthcare. Moreover, I will sign executive orders that are for the greater good, for the benefit of
everyone, particularly marginalized sectors/groups, such as enhancing primary health care. I'll appoint
capable and competent leaders who care and are concerned with the country rather than just the money.
I'm going to dismiss and fire those incompetent and corrupt cabinet members.

The aforementioned plans are just some of my plans if I were the president. There are many
more. All in all, I want to serve thy country with honesty, empathy and patriotism.
