Decision Sheet: VORA & COMPANY

Vora & Company are the manufacturer of Blossom instant cooking oats, is the subject of this case. It had
been selling his wares for quite some time but had yet to attain a lucrative sales volume. Mr. Vora
sought ISI certification in order to increase his sales. It mostly competes with two companies: Ganesh
Flour Mill and Muller & Philips.

Various problems faced by the company are:

1. Inefficient salesmen in southern area


2. Redundant advertising not contributing towards sales
3. Sales agents to be given big commissions
4. Low sales
5. Lower competitive pricing
6. Communication gaps inside the company

Solutions possible:

They should redesign their packaging and show all the information related to quality and nutrition
aspects. The company also need to work on their advertising and divert their funds to the medium
which does generate business and increase sales. Efficient advertising has their cost of acquisition as low
as possible. It is also advisable that the company increase the prices so as to meet its expenses incurred.
