Healthy or unhealthy?
Today's lunch was sautéed beef with vegetables, white rice and a
salad of lettuce, tomato, carrot and onion with lemon and salt.

first part of the meal is the sautéed meat which contains:

· Beef (Protein) – Vitamins B6 and B12, plus vitamin A. It also


contains vitamin E, biotin, iron and zinc.

· Carrot (Carbohydrates) – Vitamin A, B3, E and K, minerals like


potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iodine and calcium.

· Bell pepper (Carbohydrates) – Vitamin A and C, iron and


antioxidant.
· Yellow and green zucchini (Carbohydrates) – Fiber and notable
amounts of folic acid, potassium, iron, manganese and vitamins A,
B, B6, B2, B3, C and choline, and water.

The salad which contains


Lettuce (Carbohydrates) – Vitamin K, C, folic acid and potassium.

Tomatoes (Carbohydrates) – Vitamin C, A, potassium.

Carrot (Carbohydrates) – Vitamin A, B3, E and K, minerals like


potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iodine and calcium.
Onion (Carbohydrates) – Vitamin C, vitamin B6, potassium and
folate

And finally, white rice (Carbohydrates) – Vitamin B1, A, fiber,


sodium and potassium.

In the preparation of the lunch we use


Salt (Mineral) – Sodium, chloride, potassium, calcium, iron and
magnesium.
Annatto oil (Lipids) – Vitamin A, C, B, iron, calcium, unsaturated

Limon (carbohydrates) – Vitamin C, B1, B2, B5, B6, B9, iron, calcium,
copper and potassium
Sunflower oil (Lipids) – Omega 6, polyunsaturated, iron, vitamin A
and E.
The food is healthy, it provides me with the necessary vitamins for
my day to day life, it is rich in fiber and water from the salad and
the rice, has minerals that helps with respiration cellular and are
necessaries like iron. But I think that meal need more protein.
