years ago and has since developed 6-star Pacific Island Resort, luxury
townhouses and high rise apartments in Australia as well as creating Angels
Care "Ageing in Place" in Malaysia with his business partner Dato' Dr.
Singaraveloo Muthusamy (leading specialist for KPJ Specialist Hospital, Johor

Dr Suhail Suresh, Consultant Orthopaedic

Dr. Suhail Suresh graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and
completed his Masters in Surgery (Orthopaedics) in 2002. He furthered in
orthopaedic training at the Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane and the Royal
Adelaide Hospital, Australia.

His area of focus includes, Hip and Knee Joint Reconstructive Surgery and Robotic & Computer Assisted
Joint Replacement. He is also the current President of the Malasysian Orthopaedic Association
Dr. Aqilah Othman - Clinical Oncologist
Sunway Medical Centre

Dr Aqilah Othman graduated with Bacehlor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery


(MBChB) from University of Aberdeen, UK. She obtained the Elizaberth Lockhart
Prize in Anthropology for Medical Students (Studying Social Life) and pursued
her foundation year and core medical training in NHS Grampian, Scotland in UK,
achieving her membership of the Royal College of Pyhsician (MRCP).

She undertook her clinical oncology training in Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, a specialized
cancer care centre in Glasgow, UK.

She gained extensive clinical and academic experience working in the tertiary university teaching
hospital. She was actively involved in teaching and clinical trials being a sub-investigator in multiple
phase II and III clinical trials. She was awarded the coveted RCR-Cyclotron Trust Visiting Fellowship by
the Royal College of Radiologists, a scheme enabling UK clinical oncologist to achieve a greater
understanding of the role of the particle therapy in advanced radiotherapy. She completed her
attachment in National Centre of Oncological Hadrontherapy (CNAO) in Italy, a tertiary proton/carbon
ion centre with her post visit report being published on RCR website. She was appointed as Consultant
Clinical Oncologist at Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, UK sub specializing in breast and
colorectal cancers.

She was also an educational and clinical supervisor for medical trainees as well as non-medical
prescribers. As a clinical oncologist, Dr Aqilah Othman strives to provide the best evidence-based
clinical care.

Lily Fu ,Seniors Aloud

Lily Fu is the founder of SeniorsAloud, an online community of seniors set up to


promote active, healthy ageing and lifelong learning. She holds a Master of
Science in Applied Gerontology from Nanyang Technological University (NTU),
Singapore, and a Master in Teaching English from Universiti Malaya. Lily is also
VP of University of the Third Age (U3A), KL & Selangor, the first editor and
contributing writer for The Senior Magazine, and a strong advocate for the rights
of older persons. She recently turned filmmaker in 2020 when she won a film
grant to produce ‘Meniti Senja’ (The Twilight Years).
Dr. Nordiana Nordin ,KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital
Dr Nordiana Nordin acquired her medical degree at University of Malaya,
followed by a further training in Internal Medicine with a Membership ofthe
Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP,UK). She heads the
Geriatric Unit in Hospital Sungai Buloh (HsgB), where she pioneered the first
local Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST). During the tenure, she also sits in the
“Falls : Patient and Safety Goal” committee for which she developed the Falls
Intervention Team (FIT). She has also initiated the Geriatric Teleconference Visit
(GTV) Clinic, a virtual clinic during the Covid-19 Pandemic 2020.

Nordic Walkers.

Jeanette is a Senior Manager attached with the Consumer & Investor Office at
the Securities Commission Malaysia. She has over 15 years of work experience.
Prior to joining the SC, Jeanette has experience in business consulting with Ernst
& Young Advisory Services and with the Government’s innovation agency
focusing on high impact projects, where the team reports directly to the
Governance council chaired by the Prime Minister.

She graduated with Masters in Economics (P olitical Economy) from the University of Sydney, Australia
and has a Bachelors’ degree in Business and Economics from the University of Central Lancashire, UK.
Dr. Wan Izwin Wan Hassan & Ms. Tan Pei Jun

Dr. Wan Izwin Dr. Wan Izwin graduated from University of Sheffield, UK. She
recently returned from UK, having worked for the national health service there
for 15 years. Dr Wan Izwin also subspecializes in Geriatric Psychiatry and treats
conditions such as Alzheimer’s dementia, as well as other various cognitive
disorders. She also treats complications from dementia conditions, such as
sleep, mood disorder, aggression and agitation. She believes in delivering a
holistic approach to mental health conditions, focusing on wellbeing, lifestyle
changes and therapeutic approaches, as well as pharmacological
interventions when indicated.

Tan Pei Jun attained Master in Clinical Psychology from Help University. She has almost 10 years of
experience in handling diverse age groups of clients including students, children, teenagers, adults,
stroke patients, as well as severe mentally ill clients. Besides seeing clients, she was also an
academician who taught psychology courses and supervised clinical psychologist trainees. In addition,
she has also involved in volunteer services such as publishing MDES Diabetes Education Manual and
Yushu Earthquake Psychological Relief Work.

Pei Ling is a community pharmacist in Health Lane Family Pharmacy with seven
years of working experience in a retail pharmacy. As a community pharmacist,
she is in contact with patients and customers closely to advise them on the
usage of medications and provide health-related counseling to her customers.
