Take two photographs of anything that is present in your surroundings

which exhibits patterns. And surf the internet or look for literature such as books or
magazines to study the reasons and benefits of the occurrence of those symmetries in
those objects/organisms. Use the template below for each of the objects.

1.
Objects’ Name: Makahiya Leaves
Type of Symmetry: Fractal
Reason/Benefit of Having the Symmetry:

Fractals can be seen all over the place in nature. This makahiya plant, for
example, has a leaf that is full of fractals. If you look at a plant closely, you'll find that it
has a Y-shaped shape. As a result, the shape continues to repeat itself in a branch,
another branch, and finally into its full form. Any shape that repeats, not only a
succession of lines, is a fractal. The shape is made up of smaller versions, which will
break down into even smaller variations of the same shape in the future.
2.

Objects’ Name: Clouds

Type of Symmetry: Chaos
Reason/Benefit of Having the Symmetry:

Chaos theory is the study of how simple patterns emerge from unpredictable and
complex behavior. Chaos symmetry is beneficial because it allows us to better
understand natural patterns. Cloud is an example of chaos because it is highly
unpredictable. Therefore, fractal mathematics in which depicts nature's limitless
complexity, is commonly used to describe these occurrences.
