"Utilizing Tik Tok as an Online Marketing Innovation Effort for Local


Businesses in Sustainable Development Goals."

In the next 2 years or so, Indonesia cannot hope for exports and investment to
stimulate economic revival. the cause is the global economic impact of the covid-19
pandemic. Therefore, the Government has prioritized UMKM products to become superior
products that are loved by the nation so that they can foster the nation's economic
independence. Likewise with the tourism business, the government is promoting local tourist
destinations so that the circulation of money remains in Indonesia. According to the Secretary
of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Prof. Rully Indrawan, the commitment to
strengthen local products will save the national economy from recession.
Unlike conventional marketing strategies that do not vary, online marketing strategies
are much more varied so that they can be adjusted according to the type of business or
product being sold. Business people must research and understand the right social media to
market the products being sold. Several online marketing strategies that can be used with
TikTok media are content marketing and visual marketing. By creating innovative and
creative content marketing, it will get the right potential customers and according to the target
market of the business actor. The author hopes that the opportunity to use TikTok media for
online marketing of local products will make local products more loved by the Indonesian
people and able to save the national economy.
The purpose and benefits of writing this paper are to educate readers if using and
loving local products can help local business actors to reduce poverty and crime, increase the
number of jobs, increase the amount of national income and increase the country's economic
growth.
