CHAPTER 2

 What is this chapter about?

 This chapter is about a crew, all of them strong and experienced sailors, who
shared their Captain's opinion and were eager to find the creature. The ship had
the best equipment, from harpoons to explosive bullets, but best of all, Ned Land
was on board. Of all the men on board, Ned Land was the only one who did not
believe that the creature actually existed.
The two men had become good friends during the many disturbances at sea.
None was powerful enough to damage the iron plates of a ship, "the Canadian
replied. Days passed and then months, and the ship sailed from the Atlantic to
the Pacific. The crew got tired and worried and wanted to stop searching and go
back home.

 One thing I like about this chapter is the search for the creature, because it is
something very fantasy and full of action, which in real life is very difficult to
happen.

Then he turned to Aronnax and said: "I think I was wrong after all.
Everyone came running up to Ned and looked at what he was pointing at.
It's coming straight for us! "The creature moved closer, circled the ship, and
suddenly disappeared! The next morning, the creature reappeared. The creature
was waiting for the men's reactions. The crew was waiting for the command
from the ship. Captain.
