CHAPTER 3

 What is this chapter about?

 This chapter is about the search for the creature, the ship began to move
towards the creature, but quickly moved away. In fact, every time the Abraham
Lincoln got close to the monster, it would escape at high speed.
Night fell and they were still hunting the creature.
The surface it hit was hard and they heard a deep sound. The creature's light
disappeared and two huge jets of water landed on the deck of the Abraham
Lincoln. He sank deep into the water, but struggled and managed to kick himself
to the surface.

 What is ONE thing you like about this chapter? Why?

 One thing that I liked about this episode was the encounter with the creature,
because it was something amazing, fascinating and full of a lot of action and
other emotions.

 The ship began to move toward the creature, but it quickly moved away. In fact,

disappeared and two huge jets of water landed on the deck of the Abraham
Lincoln. He sank deep into the water, but struggled and managed to kick himself
to the surface.
When he arrived, he saw the lights of the Abraham Lincoln receding into the
darkness.
"Help help!" he screamed in fear, but no one heard him. "Help!" he cried once
more, and his mouth filled with water.
"I felt like I had to follow you when I saw you fall," Conseil replied.
Aronnax was grateful. They removed some of their heavy, wet clothing and
decided to take turns swimming and carrying. Aronnax felt like he could no
longer continue and then suddenly he hit something hard. In the dark, he felt
someone tug at him.
"Because, professor, our monster is made of steel!"
His monster was a ship that could sail under the sea!
"Hey you!" the Scream. "Open!"
 Almost at once, eight masked men appeared and dragged the three friends
inside.
