III. ANALYSIS/ ASSESMEMT OF THE STUDENT

In making decisions to every business is critical to make it successful. We have

to understand all those steps and circumstances to create a plan and decisions to
improve the existing business. In decision making may be classified under various
categories like entrepreneurial decision-making type or managerial decision-
making type that have an impact the business to all various ways. The differences
between this two can identify by these dimensions: commitment to opportunity,
commitment of resources, control of resources, strategic orientation, reward
philosophy, management structure, growth orientation and the entrepreneurial
culture.

As for this activity task we are assigned to conduct survey between two
managers of two different companies or business to identify which the two of them
is the entrepreneurial focus type and managerial type. The company/ business I
chosen to be the participant for this research is a milk tea shop which is really
marketable or trending for the customers especially to the millennials. The first
company is CyberTea which is located at Dagupan City, Pangasinan owned by Mr.
Johnny Cervas and the other company is named CNS Milk Tea located at A
Bonifacio Norte Llanera, Nueva Ecija owned by Ms. Clarence Mae Cabico.

The CyberTea company is a franchised business according to their manager Ms.

Annie Cabico, based from the answered data it is an entrepreneurial decision-
making type/ focus of business or company. According to the answered data all the
strategic orientations question scaled 6-10 which means they are driven to make
more opportunities for the business to grow no matter how much resources it can
cost to them. Most of the answer of their manager is scaled 6-10 only five question
are scale to 5, they say you can’t gain more if you’re are not willing to sacrifice a
well number of resources you have. They are more valuing the quality of the product
than its quantity that is why they still gaining more good feedbacks and more
valuable customers in their business.
The second company is the CNS Milk Tea which is a small growing business
here in our society compound, based from the owner and also the manager itself
Ms. Cabico this business is also an entrepreneurial decision/ focus type of business
or company. Most of the answers scaled 6-10 and only three questions scaled 5; the
1st question of resource orientation, 1st question of management structure and the
last question of entrepreneurial culture. Just like the first company the CNS also
value the quality and its customer to gain more profit from it. Also, the owner stated
“Don’t only value the customer, value more the employees so they can be efficient
every day”.
