What does your answer to engage say about the position of English language learning
in today’s world?

- In today’s world, learning the English language is a lot easier than it was before.
We have the capability to learn the language in any way possible, especially with
the advancement of technology. The English language is not greater than any
other language that we have and use, because all languages are equal and
valuable. Learning the English language is the same as learning any other
language. It makes us better at understanding other cultures and differences
from a broader point of view. In my answer to engage, I have to say that in
today’s world, we have the luxury of learning and understanding English on a lot
of platforms that modernization has provided. For example, we learn English by
watching videos on YouTube and television with English captions or using the
English language. A lot of learning materials have been on other platforms for us
to learn the language. With the proper use of technology, we are capable of
learning and understanding different people, variations in people's points of view,
and understanding other languages and their stories and cultures so that we can
appreciate them more.
