Guidelines for Project and Presentation

Due Date (Project 20th November, 2021
Submission)
Presentation Dates As assigned by the instructor.

Description You are required to research and present on the products/accounts, Islamic
modes of finance, and the governance structure of the Islamic bank/
window assigned to you. You are also required to present the data of the
amount given in charity by your bank of at least last two years.

Time Duration 20 Minutes will be allotted to each group. The presentation must cover all
the above requirements in the given time frame. Every member of the group
has to present.
Evaluation Done by the Instructor and Industry expert

Marks Division 15 Marks (research, knowledge, clarity, flow, connectivity of topics,

confidence, communication skills, presentation style, preparedness, time
management, etc.)

Required Components At minimum, the presentation must have the following components.

 Introduction
 Bank assigned
 Products
 Islamic financing modes
 Governance (Shariah Board, BOD, CEO)
 Data of amount given in charity (of at least last two years)

Students are free to select any form of robust rationale to support their
product/ idea (For example, having qualitative research, desk research,
industry research paper or fieldwork or products that are existing in other
countries etc).

 International databases of Islamic finance institutions and banks.
