The table below shows the proportion of income spent on 4 common items
in the UK in 1998

The table compares the percentage of expenditure on 4 different items ( food,

electronic equipment, music, videos) in the UK in the year 1998.
Overall, the proportion of the spending on videos was the lowest in 4 items. While
adults had the highest rate of income for food, children spent most of their money
on music.
