Differentiated Instruction and Technology

09/26/2021

Differentiated instruction utilizes technology in a positive way to assist in tailoring the

approach to learning for each student. Some ways that technology can be useful in differentiated

instruction is by gathering data, communication programs, and by providing a variety of types of

homework. Data can be used from assessments and grades and recorded/stored on a computer to

help target what the students strengths and weaknesses are for instructional purposes.

Communication programs online or through technology would be like blogs. These would teach

students how to operate the software and a platform that teachers can check in on and keep track

of. Technology makes it possible to not only access great resources for homework purposes, but

can also be useful through programs where information is presented in a variety of ways for

different types of learners.
