Course Description: This course is exclusively for Education students which seek to align teacher education with CHED prescribed new education curriculum reflective of the National
Competency- Based Teacher Standards. It aims to sharpen the student- teacher’s reading proficiency thus developing an early literacy environment for them.
Course Outcome
Cognitive: Acquaint themselves with the basic elements of informational and aesthetic reading.
Affective: Acquire appreciation of the wondrous origin of reading.
Psychomotor: Improve impressions and discuss reading in positive ways
