1 A.Introduction 1. Greeting and asking
(15 minutes) about the students
Phase 1 : holiday.
Presenting 2. Giving motivation
Goal and by asking about the
motivation to previous task about
student checking the
ingredient of some
objects around the
students.
3. Explaining the
indicator and
instructional
objectives.
4. Correlating the
subject with the
previous topic
about chemical
formula by asking
student to mention
the example of
chemical formula.
5. Correlating with
previous chapter
about periodic
system that is
important to
determine metal and
nonmetal element.
2. Main 6. Distributing the
activities : worksheet.
Phase 2 7. Explaining about the
Present way to give
Knowledge inorganic compound
( Declarative) name especially for
(8 minutes) determining the
compound ( step 1).
8. Providing an
opportunity for
students to ask about
subject matter that is
not yet understood.

Phase 3 9. Asking students to

Provides do exercise in
guided worksheet
practice independently and
(7 minutes) precisely.
10. Guiding the
student to do
exercise in
worksheet

Phase 4 11.Asking students to

Check for write the question`s
understanding answer on the
and giving whiteboard. Asks
feedback the other students to
(5 minutes) respect of their
friend`s answer.
12.Giving an
opportunity for
another student that
have different
answer to share their
opinion.
13. Giving feedback
about the answer of
question that
performed by
students.
14. Back to phase 2 to
explain about
classify the
compound whether
it contains main
group metal or
trasnsition metal as
the cation, then
followed by phase 3
and 4.
15. Back to phase 2 to
explain about
identify the name of
the cation and
anionfor main group
metal, then followed
by phase 3 and 4.
16. Back to phase 2 to
explain about the
way to write the
name of compound
begun by the name
of metal cation and
followed by the
name of nonmetal
anion, then followed
by phase 3 and 4.
17. Back to phase 2 to
explain about the
naming compound
that contains
transition metal, by
determining the
charge of anion and
cation then
followed by phase 3
and 4.
