Your work is your identity

Imagine that you have everything you want. Wealth, houses, jewelry, expensive clothes and more. It would
seem that you can forget about work and do nothing but satisfy your own needs. However, no! Sooner or later
you will face incredible boredom and depression, which will turn your life into a nightmare. Why is this
happening?

In my opinion, the whole point is that people are a social being, so they want to be useful, to receive not only
money to survive, but also respect from other people. Even doing not quite a favorite job, a person still feels a
certain unity with everyone, realizes himself in this work. Work helps you to stay alive, it develops such
necessary skills as responsibility, discipline, intelligence and develops you in different directions.

To sum up, I can say - as long as you work, you live. No wonder older people, even after retirement, still
continue to do useful work, even if it is difficult or not very comfortable for them. They understand the value
of work like no other, because work creates your identity, only it keeps you in society and plays an important
role in your life.
