How does search engine works?

Nowadays, the modern world is reliant on the internet. There are numerous
search engines that assist us in locating the perfect information via the internet
and browser. Google is currently the most powerful and well-known search
engine. Thus, we now have a question: how does Google locate the precise
information we seek?

Essentially, Google has their own server where they store user data. They store all
of our data and use an algorithm, programming, or bot to get vital information for
us. The search engine is based on the user's query and interest.

For instance, if we search for "Best laptop under 50k in Bangladesh," Google will
determine which laptop is popular under 50k in Bangladesh, which product
receives the most traffic, and which website is the most accessible to users.
Google has 200+ website ranking rules.

Three things that Google is seeking for are as : follows Crawling, Indexing and
Ranking.

1. Crawling: Google has their own crawler, dubbed spider, that visits new and
updated websites and scans every single page image, video, pdf, article, and
audio, among other things. If the site follows Google's requirements, it may be
added to their library for indexing.

2. Indexing: Following that, Google views the pages it discovered through crawling
and attempts to determine what each page is about. Google evaluates the page's
content, photos, and video assets in order to determine the page's purpose. This
data is saved in Google's index.

3. Ranking: Search engine results are ranked according to a variety of parameters.

These factors may include keyword density, page speed, and link popularity. The
search engine's objective is to return the most relevant results to the user.
