 (AC-S12) Week 12 - Task: Assignment - Predictions

Jorge: Hi Kissmark. How are you?

Kissmark: Great, Jorge. And you?

Jorge: Good, thank you! I was thinking, What will academic activities be like after the
pandemic situation? Have you thought about that?

Kissmark: Yes, I think the future will be very different. People will not go to libraries
because a lot of people bought their own books.

Jorge: Wow, and what do you think will happen to the schools?

Kissmark: Perhaps, the number of students per classroom will be reduced and only
the practical courses will be enabled and the theoretical courses will be kept at a
distance. And what do you think will happen to theaters?

Jorge: Oh that's interesting! I think most people will not go to theaters, but it will
probably disappear for good because most now watch movies on Netflix and a lot of
people bought Smart TVs.

Kissmark: And tell me, what is your prediction about nightclubs?

Jorge: I think the problems will be really different with respect to the pandemic
situation. Perhaps people no longer go to discos and prefer to have meetings at home.

Kissmark: I think the changes will last up to 10 years.

Jorge: Oh no, then I'll be 35 years old.

Kissmark: Oh, sorry! I have to go. I'm going to visit my grandmother.

Jorge: Ok, let's go! I will call you at night.
