Government Project

A. Project Title: Ayuda Pang Eskwela – Back 2 Back

B. The project seeks a 2 Million budget from the Department of Education. The
budget will mainly spearhead the program and will become sustainable through
donations from different organizations and people in the future. Ayuda Pang
Eskwela – Back 2 Back is a donation drive for students and/or teachers. This is
to be considered as a financial assistance to those who are in need of tool and
supplies regarding the online classes setup in the Philippines.

C. The project will start on June 1, 2021 and will end on July 31, 2021. This is to
give way to the upcoming semester and academic year that will start on August
2021.

D. I believe that this project will help the students who are in need, most especially
those who cannot afford the adequate gadgets and/or equipment for online
classes. As we all know, the pandemic forced the education system here in the
Philippines to transition into a new setup – an online setup. Though the first leg of
the project was a success, there are still a lot of children who need this and will
benefit this project. I still believe that education is key to a country’s success and
that this project will somehow mediate the challenges that this pandemic gave
us.

E. Ayuda Pang Eskwela is actually a project which my aunt started last August of
2020. She created and arranged a Facebook group which catered to the needs
of many students online. This also caught the attention of the local media outlets,
and even CNN. For the months that the project operated, Ayuda Pang Eskwela
was able to put up more than 2M in donations and provide gadgets to different
children and even teachers around the Philippines. This project is going to be a
second leg or a continuation.
