Taking into account the things that we decided on in chapter 1 and related literature, we, as the

researchers, also investigated studies similar to ours to support the validity and importance of our study
in the field. The first study that we will be discussing was written by Darnis entitled: Mobile Application
for Inventory Control in a Mini-Mart. The goal of his study is to help facilitate minimart employees in
handling the inventory of the said store. He did this by creating a mobile application.

The next study is written by Borthakur entitled Android Application for Maintaining Laboratory
Inventory that allows the user to search equipment from a database. The downside of his study is that
he failed to actually create a mobile application. instead, he actualized his study by making emulation of
the application using different program tools.

and lastly, a study by Khoa N. entitled warehouse management for android. This study aims to speed up
warehouse manager’s work and workload by substituting conventional pen and paper with an android
application. It performs admirably and meets all of the requirements but many additional functions,
such as UI customization and performance optimization, could yet be incorporated to make it more
effective and up to date.

That sums up the chapter 2 of this study. Next will be chapter 3 which will be discussed by ryan Galvez
and godofredo mali.
