1. What are some ways that you can best prepare for your first day in a new workplace? If
you are already working, reflect on what your first day was like and discuss one thing
that you would improve to make your first day more successful.
It is important to prepare for your first day in a new workplace. One way to prepare is to leave
early to get on time. Another way to prepare is to use nervous energy . Finally, you can
prepare for your first day in a new workplace by planning everything out.
2. Which form of payment would you most like to receive in your job- wage, salary, or
commission? Discuss the pros and cons of this type of payment and why you prefer this
form over the others.
The form of payment I would most like to receive in my job is salary. The pro of this type of
payment include the salary is good . The con of this type of payment include long work
hours. I prefer this form over the others because the pay can vary high

you feel are strengths and two qualities that you feel need improvement. Provide

Out of the seven qualities that are desirable in an employee there are two qualities that are
strengths and two qualities that I feel need improvement. One quality that is a strength
is communication. This is a strength for me because communication is key. Another
quality that is a strength is responsibility. This is a strength for me because I tend to get
everything done when needed to. One quality that needs improvement is multitasking .
This area needs improvement because I need to learn how to do more than one thing at
a time. Another quality that needs improvement is able to obtain stress. This area needs
improvement because when I can overthink and stress myself out more.
4. Describe a time when you had to deal with conflict. How did you handle the situation?
Discuss one thing you would improve to handle the situation better.
A time that I had to deal with conflict was when I told a customer the rules and they weren't
listening to me. I handled the situation by simply explaining the rules clearly and calmly.
One thing I would do to handle the situation better is not get a bit frustrated

Safety on the job is important because it can help keep people safe. One way I stay safe every
day is by being cautious. I can stay safe at school by following rules. In addition, I can
stay safe at work by doing what I'm supposed to safely . Finally, I can stay safe at home
by locking my doors.
6. What plan do you have for becoming a lifelong learner? How do you plan to keep your
skills current so you can remain relevant to employers?
In order to become a lifelong learner, I plan to accept responsibility from my own learning. In
addition, I plan to try new things. I plan to keep my skills current by practicing.
