INTRODUCTION
After the counselling for 50% All India Quota seats is completed, state wise counselling
for admission to the remaining 50% seats in government colleges and seats in private
colleges is conducted by the respective state counselling authorities. The admission
to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses is done on the basis of scores obtained in NEET PG.
Only the candidates from erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir will not be allowed to
appear for 50% AIQ counselling and all the seats will be allotted by state counselling.
Every state releases their NEET PG state counselling schedule after the announcement
of results.

NEET PG BASIC ELIGIBILITY

CRITERIA
The basic NEET PG eligibility criteria which is common for all candidates irrespective
of category, nationality, domicile, etc. is mentioned below:
● Qualification - Medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council
Act 1956 recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate
● Certificate of Registration - Candidates are required to mandatorily have perma-
nent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is to be
issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)
● Internship - Candidate must complete their one-year internship on or before March
31, 2020 as per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG
