1. What is the difference between a phrase and a clause?
A clause is collection of words that has a subject that is actively doing a verb meanwhile a
phrase is a collection of words that may have nouns and other words but does not have a
subject. A clause refers to a group of words that can stand alone as a meaningful sentence
while a phrase refers either one word or a group of words that are interconnected and
function as a unit in a sentence.
