SUBJECT : Online Notarization of Certificates of Candidacy

DATE : September 17, 2021

There has been reports about the non-availability of Notary Public in some areas. In
connection therewith, please be guided that the Certificates of Candidacy (COCs) can be notarized
online pursuant to the provision of SC A.M. No. 20-07-04-SC which is attached for reference.
Consequently, COC notarized online is valid in form as to notarization.
