The definition of lesson plan :

Lesson plan is a written guide used to aid teachers in their lessons.


A lesson plan is a teacher's daily guide for what students need to learn, how it will be taught, and
how learning will be measured. Lesson plans help teachers be more effective in the classroom by
providing a detailed outline to follow each class period.

The purpose of lesson plan ;


1. Used as guide for the teacher
-A lesson plan serves as a guide that a teacher uses every day to determine what the students will
learn, how the lesson will be taught as well as how learning will be evaluated.
2. Provides direction
-When a teacher give good directions, its tell the students exactly what teacher expect to their
students.
3. Gives teacher a sense of security and confidence
- Lesson plan also make teacher to be more confidence and when teach students , because the
step by step is written before.
And teacher feel security in leadbing because they arranged lesson plan as well based on their
students need.
4. Provides record
-Lesson plan provide record. Means that teacher can see their students , whether all of them
understand or not with the material , and also can define as all details of the teaching learning
process that made by teacher. The entries are made by the individual teacher after every lesson.
5. Help keep good clasroom management
- In here also, lesson plan is used to keep good classroom management means that it can keep the
atmosphere in teaching and learning activities going well and orderly.
