Answers to the questionnaire (Teaching Practice)

1R. Yes. Her aims are fulfilled by the end of the lesson because her Ss learned about
new professions.
2R. We can add the following: Ss will be able to use the names of different professions
by the end of the lesson.
3R. We could add a role play activity to oral practice stage (after they mime, they would
affirm the name of the profession they chose) this to make Ss practice more
pronunciation about professions.
4R. We would change the time of the stages 3 and 4 by giving 15 min to oral practice
and 10 to writing.
5R. All the activities are linked in the lesson by stating the professions in every stage,
and the interaction pattern between T and Ss is well-balanced.
6R. We would change nothing.
7R. We make sure all Ss have understood the instructions before they work on the
activities.
8R. The writing activity is related to the lesson because Ss are putting in practice the
names of the professions studied previously.
9R. The teacher should have maintained the use of the present tense by asking the
actual professions of student’s parents.
10R. We would add the rule (subject+verb+complement) to give Ss a guidance while
writing the sentences in the present tense.
