Philippines

Philippines, officially the Republic of the Philippines, is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia.
Situated in the western Pacific Ocean, it consists of about 7,641 islands that are broadly categorized
under three main geographical divisions from north to south: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Philippines are located in Southeastern Asia. It is an archipelago between the Philippine Sea and the
South China Sea, east of Vietnam. Philippines is an island country, so it doesn’t have any land
connected neighbors. There are a variety of different mountain ranges in the Philippines.

direction

The archipelago stretches about 1,850 km from north to south, and its widest east-west extent, at its
southern base, is some 1,130 km.
